Our range of taps comprise of three variants. Beaufort, Amie and Manette. We’ve tailored these individual styles to cater for the different tastes within the classical genre. Simply choose which style fits your needs.
BEAUFORT HAND CONTROL
The quintessential British design. Our Beaufort option uses ceramic cartridge valves. Full flow in a 1/4 turn.
AMIE HAND CONTROL
Echoes of early 20th century Paris. Amie uses ceramic cartridge valves. Full flow in a 1/4 turn.
MANETTE HAND CONTROL
Simple styling and great with soapy hands. Manette uses ceramic cartridge valves. Full flow in a 1/4 turn.
- WHERE TO POSITION YOUR BATH TAPS?
Where to position your bath taps? Deck mounted, wall mounted, stand pipe mounted taps? What’s the deal?
Its all down to location and where the taps will be fitted. Deck mounted as the name suggests, are mounted on a horizontal deck like a bath surface or stone top. This is a popular solution and suits most bathrooms.
Wall Mounted; this one’s fairly obvious and its a solution that’s gaining popularity in the UK. For good reason, as it gives you a cleaner, more ‘designed’ look. Installation might be a bit trickier but it’s potentially worth the extra work.
Stand Pipe mounted is where taps are mounted on top of our Stand Pipe fittings. These are used on bath without tap holes and where you want to make a grand statement. We make these in 700mm and 800mm heights to suit the baths they are used with.
- WHICH SURFACE FINISH?
Our Bath Taps and Mixers are hand polished for extra lustre and finished in bright chrome.
We’re all familiar with chrome. It’s used abundantly on taps, lights, door fittings and numerous other places. It’s popular for good reason. Its hard, durable and shiny. If you want something that’s easy to clean, chrome is your friend.
CHROME FINISH. Ubiquitous, hard wearing and easy to maintain.
- WATER FLOW
All of our Bath Taps and Mixers can be used with high and low pressure water systems however, gravity water systems set at 0.3 bar (5 psi-g) may need a pump to assist a shower valve’s flow.
Hot water systems using a pressurised cylinder will give good performance for both the taps and your shower.
We supply our Pressure Equalising Valve (PEV) to systems where a pressure imbalance may occur between the hot and cold supplies. This eliminates the risk of temperature variation when in use – a great safety feature, especially with children in the home.
With safety in mind, we always recommend you fit a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) to your household hot water system. This will reduce the hot water temperature flowing from your taps to a safe maximum level. Generally, these can be set between 38-46 degrees C. Speak to your installer for more advice.
BATH SHOWER MIXER - deck mounted
Our Bath Shower Mixer models are designed to be used on horizontal (deck) surfaces such as bath tap ledges or on top of stone bath surrounds. This format can also be mounted on our Stand Pipes. Supplied in polished Chrome as shown.
BATH FILLER - wall mounted
Locate the tap where you want; that’s the advantage of a wall mounted tap. Our Bath Filler models dispense with the hand shower to give you a clean, fuss-free look. Supplied in polished Chrome only.
BATH FILLER - deck mounted
After a simpler look? The deck mounted Bath Filler may be the logical choice. This tap can be mounted on a horizontal surface such as a tap ledge or stone bath surround. This format can also be mounted on our Stand Pipes. Supplied in polished Chrome finish.
BATH SHOWER MIXER ON STAND PIPES.
To suit the varying heights of our baths, we’ve engineered our Stand Pipes in two optional sizes of 700mm and 800mm in height. Supplied in Chrome finish.
WALL MOUNTED BATH SHOWER MIXER
Keep the practicality of a hand shower with your bath tap. Have the option of mounting the tap where needed. These are both advantages of the wall mounted Bath Shower Mixer. Supplied in Chrome finish.
CONCEALED BATH FILLER - wall mounted
Keeping things nice and simple with a clean, fuss-free design. The Concealed Bath Filler hides the water valves within the wall. Easy to clean and still able to be serviced by accessing the hidden valves. Supplied in Chrome finish.
