Mixer thermostatic shower

Therefore there would seem to be little difference in setting the separate but easily controlled hot and cold controls of Albion’s pressure balanced manual showers and allowing the water to come up to temperature before stepping in to the shower.

REQUEST OUR BROCHURE

Once in the shower the pressure equalising valve maintains the water at the desired temperature even when other plumbing items such as washing machines and toilets being flushed etc are used. This eliminates the well known momentary freezing shower or potential scalding hazard that can be experienced. Thermostatic showers do not offer this added benefit whilst the shower is being used, by turning the mixer thermostatic shower the user is simply setting the desired temperature for the shower. Once the mixer thermostatic shower has been turned the water in the pipe work has to be allowed to run to the required temperature before the shower reaches the required temperature. Simply turning the mixer thermostatic shower gives only temperature control and not pressure control.
