Cast iron slipper bath
The Albion Bath Co Ltd founded its own factory in 1994 to produce a wide range of Roll Top Bath and Freestanding Baths. Using an exclusive material called Iso-Enamel, this formulation, manufactured by Albion and researched during the previous 4 years provides a brilliant white, rigid, hard wearing surface. Additionally the material maintains the heat of the bath water.
Albion have six slipper baths in the model line-up and when compared to a cast iron slipper bath, the Albion version will provide equal strength without excessive weight and unacceptable heat loss.
Additionally, when compared to a cast iron slipper bath, the Albion product can be cleaned with modern liquid cleaners. If these modern cleaners are used on a cast iron slipper bath, the vitreous enamel surface will be attacked and consequently ruined.
For larger bathrooms, we suggest using our Imperium or Apollo baths which echo the style of original, double ended cast iron slipper baths.
As with all our bathtub models, the slipper baths are styled to replicate the allure of antique bathtubs of the early 20th century. Using our exclusive materials Albion’s range of Slipper Baths will out perform the inferior cast iron slipper bath.
