A Japanese tub bath style is different from what we are most accustomed to using. The Japanese tub is shorter, so you have to sit with your legs pulled up against your chest, and the tub is deeper so the water will come to your shoulders.
The Albion technicians have created a soaking tub designed to cater for the tiniest of bathrooms. The Tubby Tub is based on unique deep short baths such as the Japanese tub, however in a traditional roll top bath style. The Tubby Tub measures only 1200mm (4ft) in length, this short bath is incredibly deep. This results in a compact small soaking tub that still allows an average size person to submerge themselves.
To enhance our short baths range Albion have also created a double ended version the Tubby Too, measuring at 1485mm long. The new Tubby Too bath is manufactured in Albion’s own factory using their unique material called Iso-Enamel making it strong, durable and luxurious. As with the original Tubby soaking tub design, the Tubby Too bath is just as deep and still suitable for the smaller bathroom.
Albion’s range of short baths, as with other Albion roll top baths, can be finished to a colour of your choice, or choose one of Albion’s metallic burnished finishes. The feet are supplied in the traditional style and cast using grey iron. Naturally, Albion can finish these to a colour of your choice.
