If your order is straightforward, a delivery week/timescale will be noted on your Order Confirmation, however, if no date is advised, we may still be awaiting further information from you.
For items marked CUSTOMER TO ADVISE, we will need you to contact us with your exact requirement regarding colour, size, style etc. by the required response timescale. For factory applied finishes/colours, if we are not advised by the noted timescale, these items will be sent with your order unfinished and a credit made to your account as appropriate. Items marked SPECIAL on your Order Confirmation are specific to your order and cannot be changed. We therefore recommend that you ensure these goods are correct for your installation as, if changes are required, full payment will be required for the unwanted goods.
Please therefore check the enclosed Order Confirmation, and acknowledge it by post, fax or email us in order that we may secure you into the production schedule. If anything is incorrect, please notify us and we will make the necessary adjustments and resend the Order Confirmation to you.
If you make any changes to your order, we will notify you of any change in your delivery date.
Generally, deliveries are carried out by standard 7.5 tonne delivery trucks, the same type and size as used by household electrical goods retailers etc. Goods are only delivered to the exterior of a ground floor location at the Delivery Address. Although helpful, for insurance reasons the delivery driver is not permitted to take items into your property, so please plan in advance where you will be storing them (in your garage for example). You must therefore make your own arrangements at your own risk if the items need to be transported from the delivery location as we do not provide unpacking or installation services.
You will require the assistance of an able bodied person for the “off loading” of your bath and various awkward sized or heavy items. Please note: For orders that contain larger bespoke items (eg. shower trays, radiators and bull nose baths – Aegean/Etruscan/Lilye etc), 4-6 people may be required to assist in the moving of equipment from the delivery location.
Unfortunately, due to weather/traffic conditions we are unable to give a guaranteed time of arrival. However, deliveries usually take place between 8.00am and 6.00pm unless the driver has encountered unforeseen delays. Albion will provide the delivery driver with your contact telephone number in the event that your property is hard to locate and directions are required.
Please be aware that if you postpone your scheduled delivery, the next available date may be 4/6 weeks later. In this event, we still require payment of any outstanding monies on the original planned delivery date. Albion also reserves the right to levy any additional carriage charge/retain deposit resultant from special access/delayed/rejected deliveries or for returned goods, howsoever caused.
